RARA
RARA, The Redundant Architects Recreation Association, is a flexible project space established 2008 in Clapton, London. RARA offers affordable space for any creative use and acts as an agency, securing projects for its members.
RARA is an energetic shared infrastructure that provides affordable space to do anything and everything.
Welcome to the era of total creative freedom, the antithesis of the 9 – 5. A platform to individual design practice, with a collaborative atmosphere.
RARA is an experiment in building and sustaining community through making, at a time when many community spaces in London are closing or struggling to survive.
RARA was founded by Sam Potts, Joe Swift and Dan Nation. I was involved with RARA for 10 years, and was a founding member of ‘RARA Cooperative’.
